About Integration Kinesiology™
Integration Kinesiology™ (IK) is based on the belief that we are responsible, need to be active, and participate in our own health. Symptoms are viewed as warning signals. Restoring and promoting health by treating all levels of a person and building up the body's defense mechanism to create optimum health is the goal.
Founded in 1995, IK uses a variety of effective alternative health care techniques, for example: kinesiology (muscle responses); Colorpuncture; mind, body and emotion integration; reflex integration; acupressure; and essential oils. Used together these techniques amplify the body's ability to achieve better health.
While IK is complimentary to traditional medicine, it is a holistic, complete approach to physical, mental, and emotional restoration that focuses on changing the cause of disease rather than just treating the symptom. God has amazingly designed the non-conscious mind to know what the body needs for optimal health at any point in time. Through muscle responses information can be accessed and an appropriate treatment applied. God and your body do the healing while IK is simply a tool to help your body recognize that what it has been accepting as normal, is really abnormal and needs to be healed.
Hundreds of clients, from a variety of backgrounds and lifestyles, have experienced measurable and remarkable improvements in physical, mental, and emotional health.
About Anna Gates
Anna is the founder of Integration Kinesiology. Her passion for helping others experience health on all levels through the use of natural methods became apparent during nursing school. There she observed a common tendency to focus on the symptoms, rather than the causes, of disease. Often this led to people taking prescription drug after prescription drug—in an effort to treat the side effects and progressively deteriorating health.
Like many alternative health care practitioners, receiving help from the alternative community for her own chronic issues changed Anna's life. Having experienced personally the effectiveness of alternative health care, she began to study the best practices of a wide variety of complimentary techniques. Some of the disciplines she has studied, or holds certifications in, include: Colorpuncture, CranioSacral Therapy, Health Kinesiology, Educational Kinesiology, Touch for Health, Energy Psychology Techniques, NeuroMuscular Techniques, NeuralStructural Techniques, and Masgutova Neuro-sensory-motor Reflex Integration, among others. Anna's passion for researching and helping people has led to the development of specific techniques to facilitate the relief of stress—physically, emotionally and mentally.
